A socially minded mixed-media artist originally from Cincinnati, I am a Phi Beta Kappa graduate of the University of Michigan with a master’s degree in filmmaking and education. In 2018, I was honored as the California Teacher of the Year by the California League of Schools. Currently, I serve as an adviser to 31 schools, dedicated to fostering safe, welcoming, healthy, and inclusive communities.
When I am not at a school, you can find creating art in Santa Clarita, California or just hanging out with my amazing human, feline, and canine family members.
